There's a new hatchling in the Dixie Chicks' nest!  Here's a Lone Star State-size congrats to two of my favorite fellow Texans - Emily Robison and her singer/songwriter hubby, Charlie Robison, who welcomed their firstborn into the world Nov. 11 in San Antonio, Texas.  The lil' cowboy, Charles Augustus Robison, weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 21 inches long.  The couple has decided to call him Gus.  "I'll probably hold off at least a couple of days before teaching him how to ride a horse," declares Charlie, who chose the baby's middle name after Robert Duvall's character in the movie Lonesome Dove.  Emily and Charlie ask anyone wishing to honor Gus' birth to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in lieu of gifts.  (The Robisons will be notified of each donation if the donor notes "Emily and Charlie Robison" or the baby's name when they make the donation.)  For donations by mail: Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, 3550 N. Central Avenue, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85012.  By phone: (866) 880-1382.  By Internet: www.wish.org. (Instruct that the "honor cards" should go to: The Robisons, c/o 56 Lindsley Ave., Nashville, TN 37210.)  OK, Gus, 'bout time to saddle up!
