This story proves that a fiddle, Dobro and the Dixie Chicks' music is right at Home thousands of miles from the good ol' U.S.A.  An American, doing work at an orphanage in a rural village in Thailand, went to a local community retaurant, described as a house with a big porch where everyone gathers.  The visitor took her boom box and her CD of the Chicks' latest single "Long Time Gone."  As she ate, she played the song - and everyone went crazy for it!  People were dancing on the porch, in the living room - even in the yard.  The crowd of locals asked her to play the tune over and over for almost an hour!  The Chicks' third album, Home (featuring that Thai smash "Long Time Gone"), is now in stores.  I'm guessing it'll be in Thailand 'bout the time monsoon season sets in.
