Dixie Chick Natalie Maines is swapping rooms on The Learning Channel's popular how-to hit Trading Spaces. Maines will be featured on the show's first-ever celebrity edition April 20 at 4 p.m. Trading Spaces takes two pairs of neighbors, supplies them each with $1,000, a professional designer, a carpenter and 48 hours in which to redecorate a designated room - in the others' home. Each "team" stays in the others' home during the transformations and has no idea how the room in their own home is being decorated. On the show, taped in Austin, Maines pairs up with her cousin, Stephanie Maines, and designer Hildi Santo-Tomas to tackle her mom's loft/multipurpose room, while Natalie's mother, Tina Maines, and sister, Kim Maguire, work with designer Vern Yip to redecorate Natalie's guest room.
